A Benton man faces additional drug charges, after police arrested him Thursday on an active warrant.
On Thursday, Marshall County Sheriff's Detectives assisted Marshall County Probation and Parole at a home on W 7th Street in Benton. Police said that when they arrived, 31-year-old Jeremiah Wood, of Benton answered the back door and was arrested on an active warrant.
Police said they found Nichole Reichard, who lives at the home hiding under the house. Officers then searched the home and reportedly found a baggie of Meth.
According to police, Reichard showed officers where Wood had hidden two other bags of Meth.
Wood was charged with 1st degree possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
