Ballard County Burn Ban Still in Effect

BALLARD COUNTY, KY - The burn ban is still in effect in Ballard County.
Emergency Management Director Anita Bugg says that while the Wickliffe Area received up to 4 inches of rain in some spots, Bandana only received .2 of an inch, and ground cover in the north end of the county is still dry and dangerous.
Until additional rain is received in the North end (Bandana, Needmore, Oscar), the burn ban will remain in effect.
