BALLARD COUNTY - Four Ballard Memorial High School FBLA-PBL members were recognized as outstanding officers at the group’s, Fall Leadership Conference at Murray State University on October 18th.

Those earning awards were Mason Purcell, vice president, Preston Reno, treasurer, Jenna Thomas, parliamentarian, and Taryn Hamilton, historian.
Students went to learn about what FBLA, (Future Business Leaders of America), is and specific roles with which they could be involved in the organization. Topics such as fundraising, community service, and ways to make their club grow were discussed in the breakout sessions. There also were meetings for specific offices.
“All students and advisors had fun and learned a lot,” said Ballard Advisor Korrie Purcell.
