MARSHALL COUNTY, KY - Kent Barlow pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to three charges arising from a violent encounter at his home.
Barlow, the former South Marshall Middle School principal, was arrested after an incident with a female at his home on Soldier Creek Road in March. He was originally charged with rape and assault.
The commonwealth dropped the rape charge at the request of the victim, but added charges of unlawful imprisonment and wanton endangerment.
Barlow's plea deal could carry a 10-year sentence.
His sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 31.
