Benefit Concert Features John Michael Montgomery

MAYFIELD, KY - John Michael Montgomery will perform an acoustic concert, Saturday September 15th at the Graves County Fairgrounds to benefit Josh Harpole. Gates will open at 1 pm. Grandstands will open at 4:30 pm, and music starts at 5 pm.
In addition to Montgomery, music will also be provided by Darren Warren, Rusty Van Sickle and Steve Hornbeak. A silent auction will begin at 2 pm. There will be live auctions between acts. There will also be a Fireman’s Water Ball, an all-day tractor show, raffles, games and food.
Josh Meet & Greet tickets are $50. VIP tickets are $25. General admission is $8. Children 12 and under get in free. Children's games and food begin at 1 pm. Children can play all day for only $5. Children under 3 play for free.
Tickets are being sold daily in Mayfield at Award Masters Inc., River Valley Ag Credit, and Jerry's Glass.
This Saturday the 8th, a series of one-day ticket stops are also being held. You can purchase tickets on Saturday the 8th only at:

There will be a kick-off party on Friday, Sept. 14, at Carr’s Steak House in Mayfield. There will be an acoustic sing off starting at 7 pm. The entry fee is $10. The winner will be determined by the amount of tips they make. The winner will perform on stage prior to John Michael Montgomery on Saturday night. Josh was diagnosed three years ago with Muscular Dystrophy, but has developed skills to help him with daily life. However, at this point, Josh is unable to walk on his own. Josh and his family live in a home too small to accommodate a wheel chair.
Josh's father, Jason, is a deputy with the Graves County Sheriff's Department. His mother, Vanessa, was forced to quit her job to care for Josh.
