A Marshall County man is facing burglary and theft charges.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says a deputy was dispatched to Fly Away Drive on Friday in reference to a burglary. Deputies say an unknown man had entered the home, stolen a change of clothing and a cellular phone. The man then reportedly stole a set of keys and stole the victim's pick-up truck.

A detective was on his way to the home to assist with the investigation when he saw the stolen pick-up truck in Draffenville. Police were able to stop the truck and identified the suspect as Charles Rich of Benton.

Rich reportedly admitted to the burglary and was arrested. He's charged with 2nd degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking over $10,000. He was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
