A Benton man faces drug charges, after police say they found meth and drug paraphernalia at his home.
On Thursday, Marshall County Sheriff's Deputies received information about possible meth manufacturing at a home on Greenhill Drive in Benton. Police said that when they arrived, the owner of the home allowed deputies to come in and conduct a search. Police said they saw several items that appeared to be used to smoke meth. Police arrested 50-year-old Joe Coomer, of Benton, after they say he admitted the items belonged to him. During a more thorough search, police say deputies found more illegal drug paraphernalia.
Coomer was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance (Meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
