MAYFIELD, KY - Fervent Records recording artist Big Daddy Weave, one of the Top 10 most played artists at Christian radio over the past decade, will kick off their "Redeemed Tour" on Thursday, Sept. 20 in Mayfield, KY with special guest Aaron Shust. The show will be at First Baptist Church in Mayfield, and begins at 7:00 pm.
Doors open at 6:00 pm. General Admission tickets are $10, and are available at the Good News Shoppe in Mayfield, at the church, or by calling 270-556-9167.
“The Redeemed Tour,” is named after the lead single from Big Daddy Weave’s new album released this past April, "Love Come to Life". The band, comprised of Mike Weaver (lead vocals/guitar), Jay Weaver (bass/vocals), Jeremy Redmon (guitar/vocals), Joe Shirk (keyboards/saxophone) and Jeff Jones (drums), have experienced a new level of meaning and ministry in their concerts over the past year by being even more transparent about their own lives and praying during shows with those who seek prayer in their lives.
“I think this tour is appropriately named, for sure,” said Mike Weaver. “I’ve been blown away by how people have been responding to this song! It really resonates with what God has been doing in my life personally and with what we’ve been seeing God accomplish night after night on the road with Big Daddy. I think when we’re willing to share our own personal hurts and brokenness, God brings down some walls in others who may have previously been afraid to bring those kinds of things into the light. I know this first hand, and thank God there’s freedom beyond our baggage! So excited to take this idea across our country with Aaron Shust. We’ve toured together before, I continue to be a huge fan and he’s a great friend of ours. Really looking forward to what God has in store!”
Aaron Shust also shared his excitement for the tour, "Being out with Big Daddy Weave has been a highlight for us in our touring experience and we look forward to it again. The bond is true and I know that our hearts are one when I say that we want nothing more than to join with everyone in attendance by lifting up the Name of our Redeemer in worship. It's going to be a great night!"
Throughout the show, audience members can look forward to hearing new tracks including their No. 1 hit single, “Love Come To Life,” “Redeemed” and “Jesus Move.” They will also perform past hits including “You Found Me” and “Every Time I Breathe.”
