HICKMAN, KY - An investigation will be conducted into what caused a tugboat to catch fire in Hickman Wednesday, but authorities say it appears to have started in the engine room.  

The boat was tied at Wepfer Marine mooring and caught fire at 11:30 am. Employees of Wepfer Marine initially began fighting the fire, but were quickly joined by crew members from the Hickman-Dorena Ferry, the US Coast Guard, and Hickman and Cayce Fire Departments.
