Boggess Pleads Not Guilty in School Voyeurism Case

A former teacher and coach at Murray High School facing child pornography and voyeurism charges has pleaded not guilty in court.

According to Calloway County Circuit Court records, Mark Boggess pleaded not guilty Tuesday to three counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and four counts of voyeurism.     

Police began investigating the case after staff at the school found a video camera set up in the bathroom of the school's nurse's station. Police said they were able to identify Boggess on a video setting up the device.

Boggess served at as a physical education teacher and coach for the school's track team. He is currently out on bond, and is due back in court on Sept. 19.
