Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Dexter, Almo

The Dexter-Almo Water District has lifted a boil water advisory for some of its customers.

In a press release, the utility said the Kentucky Division of Water has declared their samples safe for consumption.

Areas in the boil water order included: Candlelight Dr., Boggess Dr., Heath Lane, Almo Rd., the town of Almo, Radio Rd., Pleasant Hill, Stewart Cemetery Rd., Whitlow Lane, Toskana, all of Dexter, and the northwest area which includes Charley Miller Rd, Justin Lane, Joseph Dr., Pondview, Shamrock, Hopkins Rd & Wadesboro Rd. Saddlebrook Lane, Crestview, Ingram, and Lover's Lane.

A line break was recently repaired at 3815 US Hwy 641 North, causing the precaution.
