Bridge Lanes to be Restricted During Inspection

Drivers traveling between Henderson, Kentucky, and Evansville, Indiana, on the U.S. 41 Twin Bridges should expect lane restrictions starting Monday.



The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a detailed inspection will be taking place, prompting one-lane traffic from about 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. CDT weekdays. There may be additional hours of restrictions on weekends.



The inspection is expected to last about 10 days to two weeks, depending on weather. The bridges carry some 37,000 vehicles across the Ohio River daily.
