Broken Gas Line Closes Main Street in Cadiz

A broken gas main has caused Main Street in Cadiz to be blocked.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, a contractor struck the line and caused the leak. Atmos Energy is current on the scene making repairs.

Until the repair is completed, Main Street (US 68-Business) is blocked at Brown Street and Line Street. 

It's estimated that the repair will take about 2 hours, so the road could be blocked until at least 1:30 pm.
