Cadiz Police Search for Leads in Vehicle Break-ins

CADIZ, KY - Police detectives are looking for answers after items were taken from vehicles at the Cadiz Cracker Barrel on Saturday night.
 
Public information officer Scott Brown told the Paducah Sun that officers were dispatched to Cracker Barrel at about 8:40 p.m. Saturday after several parked cars were burglarized. According to Brown,  purses, wallets, a pistol and other valuables were reported stolen.
 
The cars were owned by both restaurant patrons and employees, according to Brown. He also said Investigators are still interviewing employees at Cracker Barrel.

Brown said some of the stolen items were found in a dumpster of a nearby hotel. The missing money and gun have not been located.
 
Cadiz police are asking anyone with information about the thefts to call the Cadiz Police Department at 270-522-8369.
