A Caldwell County student was arrested Wednesday afternoon after allegedly making threats at school.

According to the Princeton Police Department, officers were notified Wednesday afternoon of a school shooting threat at Caldwell County High School. Witnesses told police that they heard 18-year-old Jacob A. Hall say that he had been profiled as a school shooter for several years. According to witnesses, Hall said, "I'm not playing. I'm going to do it."

Officers located Hall at his place of residence and took him to the police department for questioning. He was later arrested and charged with second degree terroristic threatening.

Hall was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
