Calloway Man Charged With Attempted Murder

A stabbing incident in Calloway County has left one person in the hospital and another charged with attempted murder.  The Calloway County Sheriff's Office says they received a report of a stabbing that had occurred on Oakhill Drive in Calloway County Thursday evening.



Sheriff Deputies responded and spoke with the victim, who was in the Murray Calloway County Hospital emergency room. The victim stated that his neighbor had stabbed him in his front yard during an altercation.



Deputies located the suspect and arrested him at his residence on Oakhill Drive. Arrested was a Mr. Devin Banks, 39 years old of Murray, who was charged with Attempted Murder and lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.  



The Sheriff’s office was assisted by Murray Police Department’s K-9 Officer during this incident.
