The Calloway County Board of Education at its July 12 meeting agreed to have the preschool on College Farm Road in Murray participate in the USDA Community Eligibility Option, which allows for free meals to be served to all students for the 2012-2013 school year.
 
Calloway County joins 18 other Kentucky districts who participated in this program during the previous school year.
 
As a result of the Board action, all Calloway County Preschool students enrolled on school calendar days will be served Breakfast and/or Lunch at no charge. Adults working or visiting in the building will still pay the regular price for their meals. Catering or ala carte meal choices will also remain at regular prices.
