This is in concert with over five thousand Relays being held nationwide and around the globe. It's estimated that over 4 million Americans will participate in a Relay event this year. Since 1985's first relay in Tacoma, Washington, over $5 billion has been raised for cancer research.
Each event is much more than just the walk; teams will also participate by selling food, as well as hosting crafts, games and activities for everyone, along with contests and live entertainment.
Be there to celebrate…to remember…and to fight back. There’s still time to form a team and sign up to participate. Or, just show up at your county's relay and be a part of the fun.
