A Simpson, IL man was injured Monday morning in a crash, after the tanker truck he was driving dropped off the edge of the roadway.

On Monday, Calloway County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a crash with injuries on US Highway 641 South. Their investigation revealed that Michael Hainline of Simpson, IL was traveling south when the front end of the tanker truck he was driving felt wobbly and dropped off the shoulder. Hainline then overcorrected, which caused him to slide into a fence. After hitting the fence, Hainline's truck overturned and the tank began to leak onto the road.

Hainline was taken to the Murray Calloway County Hospital emergency room for treatment of his injuries.
