The Marshall County sheriff's department and Calvert City police responded to a home on Lone Valley Road at 1:55 am, after getting a call from the victim, who did not know the man who was inside. Police questioned the man, 35-year-old Jeremy S. Rambeau, who told police he was waiting for his friend, who lived in the home, but later said he did not know where he was or how he got there.
When Rambeau was searched, a straw was found in his pocket, which tested positive for methamphetamine.
Rambeau was arrested for burglary 2nd degree, possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Marshall County Detention Center.
