According to the Graves County Sheriff's Office, on Thursday officers arrested 53-year-old Sheila P. Burgess on charges related to a probation violation. While going through the body scanner at the Graves County Jail, officers say they noticed Burgess was hiding something.
A search revealed a plastic bottle which deputies believe contained synthetic urine, which they believe she had concealed in order to pass a drug screen if requested by the office of probation and parole.
Burgess was additionally charged with second degree promoting contraband, and second degree criminal simulation.
