Chance of Isolated Severe Storms Tonight

The National Weather Service says that isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and tonight. Isolated severe storms cannot be ruled out, mainly over southeast Missouri, far western Kentucky and the southwest tip of Illinois.

On Tuesday, a small chance of thunderstorms will linger over the southern Pennyrile region, bringing lightning and locally heavy downpours.

Thursday will see a return of thunderstorms to the region. Lightning and locally heavy rainfall will be the primary concern.
