Chicago Man Jailed in Mayfield on Cocaine Charges

MAYFIELD, KY - An Illinois man was arrested in Graves County Monday on cocaine charges.
According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, 30-year-old Adam Abraham of Chicago was arrested after a search warrant was executed at 620 East Water Street in Mayfield. Abraham was charged with trafficking controlled substance first degree cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana.
Abraham was also in possession of a handgun when sheriff’s deputies and Mayfield Police officers entered the home. He was additionally charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Redmon said his Drug Unit received information that illegal drug activity was occurring at the home on East Water Street in Mayfield. A search warrant was obtained and illegal drugs and other items relating to cocaine trafficking were present.
Abraham was lodged in the Graves County Jail.
