Clarksville Murder Suspect Arrested in Lyon County

A Cadiz man arrested Wednesday in Lyon County for burglary, is also a suspect in a Clarksville, Tennessee murder investigation. 

According to the Kentucky State Police, troopers responded Wednesday afternoon to a burglary at Rocky Ridge RV Park in Lyon County while assisting the Clarksville Police Department with an ongoing murder investigation.

Troopers and Lyon County Sheriff's deputies arrested 21-year-old Quintin Bird of Cadiz, a suspect in a murder investigation, just before 3:00 p.m. inside a camper. Bird was taken to Caldwell County Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. 

Upon his release from the hospital, Bird was charged with 2nd degree burglary, tampering with physical evidence, and fugitive from justice (for the TN charge of criminal homicide). He was taken to the Christian County Jail.
