If you  would like to win a prize for the best picture of the upcoming solar eclipse, you will now get that chance. Michael Baker International is holding a photo and video contest to capture the August 21st Solar Eclipse.

KYTC says entries should be high resolution photo or video that captures the eclipse and either the newly completed Kentucky Lake Bridge or the Lake Barkley Bridge currently under construction during the solar event.  (Minimum of 300 dpi for the photos; Maximum of 5 minute duration for the videos).  Only electronic submissions will be accepted.  The best photo and the best video submission will both receive a $50 prize.

Submit all entries to solarcontest@mbakerintl.com. For large entries a temporary account and eftp link can be set up on https://eftp.mbakerintl.com/ with the submissions going to the same email address. Include a name, address, and phone number with your submission.  The deadline for submission is Sunday, September 17th at 11:59 pm CDT.

Any person involved with, or an employee of an entity involved with, the planning, design or construction of the bridges, or their family members, are not eligible.  By applying you authorize Michael Baker International unconditional release of the photos and videos for publication purposes.  The winner will be announced on www.lakebridges.com
