Contraband in Watch at Jail Leads to Man's Arrest

MAYFIELD - The Mayfield Police Department said their officers responded to the Graves County Jail on Sunday after deputy jailers caught a man trying to get contraband into the jail.

A Graves County Jail supervisor said 30-year-old Tyler Falder brought in a watch for an inmate. A deputy inspected the watch and discovered contraband hidden inside the watch compartment.

Falder was placed under arrest and lodged in the Graves County Jail. He's charged with 2nd degree promoting contraband (attempted).
