The Graves County Sheriff's Department and area Dollar General Stores are teaming up this month for a "Cram the Cruiser" collection for charity.

Throughout the month, a marked cruiser from the Sheriff's Department will be at local stores, and residents are encouraged to donate several types of items:

1 - Non-perishable food items for the Mayfield-Graves County Need Line and Food Pantry (canned food or soup, chili, cereal, oatmeal, crackers, etc.)

2 - Cleaning supplies and paper products will be accepted for Mayfield Lighthouse

3 - Toys will be collected for the Community Christmas Connection

While shopping at Dollar General, customers will be reminded by the cruiser to help others in the community who are in need.

The cruiser has already visited stores in Fancy Farm, Farmington and Symsonia. It will be at the following Dollar General store locations through the rest of the month:

3854 SR 45 North in Mayfield: November 16th through 18th
1515 West Broadway in Mayfield: November 19th through 21st
351 Charles Drive in Mayfield: November 22nd through 24th
920 Paducah Road in Mayfield: November 25th through 27th
212 SR 131 in Mayfield: November 28th through 30th
