Crash Blocks Southbound 1-69 at I-24 in Lyon Co.

A semi-tractor trailer crash in Lyon County has blocked the southbound ramp of I-69 to the I-24 westbound lanes.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is reporting that the truck is hauling Christmas wrapping paper, and will have to be off loaded before being removed.

The estimated duration of the road closure is at least six hours.
Detour for this location is for I-69 southbound traffic to Exit at the US 62 Eddyville-Princeton interchange, to US 62 westbound through Eddyville, to reconnect to I-24/I-69 at the exit 40 Eddyville-Kuttawa interchange.
