Crash Closes I-24 Eastbound Lanes in Lyon County

Eastbound lanes of I-24 have been closed in Lyon County along the ramp to I-69 Northbound due to a crash involving a motor home.

Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the motor home landed on top of the guardrail along the ramp at the interchange. There were no reports of injuries.

The suggested detour is via exit 40 along US 62 through Eddyville or by looping through the exit 45 interchange.

The estimated duration is two to four hours.
