Crash on US 68 Leads to DUI Arrest

A Murray woman was arrested for DUI after an early Sunday morning crash on US 68 in Cadiz.

At around 1:20 a.m. Sunday, Cadiz Police investigated a one-vehicle crash near the intersection of US 68 and International Drive.
 
According to police, 29-year-old Pammie Adams was eastbound on US 68 and told officers she swerved to miss an object or animal in the road. She overcorrected causing her SUV to slide sideways then overturn on the highway.  Adams was wearing her seat belt, and refused medical treatment at the scene.

Adams failed three field sobriety tests and was arrested. She is charged with DUI – First Offense and No Insurance – 1st Offense.  A blood sample was taken and sent to the KSP lab for analysis.
