CALDWELL COUNTY - A deer is to blame for a rollover crash in Caldwell County that sent the driver to the hospital.
The accident happened around 6:00 am Friday in the 2000 block of Farmersville Road.
The Caldwell County Sheriff's Office said 33-year-old Brittany Williams of Princeton was driving south when a deer entered the roadway. Deputies said Williams swerved and applied the brakes, but due to slippery road conditions, her SUV left the road, struck a culvert and overturned.
Williams was transported by ambulance to Caldwell County Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
