A Thursday afternoon disturbance call in Cadiz led to the arrest of two men on drug and other charges.

According to Cadiz Police, at around 2:00 pm Thursday officers were called to a disturbance in the parking lot of Junior Food Mart on Wooldridge Lane. Police said they found 21-year-old Tavian Spencer, of Hopkinsville and 38-year-old Anthony R. Senter, of Murray in the parking lot, and that Spencer reportedly tried to flee when officers arrived. Police said they believe the two men met at the gas station for a drug deal, and officers later found a pound of marijuana on them.

Spencer is charged with trafficking in marijuana - 1st offense.  He was also charged with robbery - 1st degree and kidnapping because police say he took Senter's money and held him against his will in the vehicle while attempting to flee.

Senter is charged with trafficking in marijuana - 2nd offense. Cadiz Police was assisted by the Trigg County Sheriff's Office at the scene.
