Due to a building issue, donations for the 10th annual Mayfield-Graves County Needline & Food Pantry Community Yard Sale are now being accepted at a different location in the Mayfield Shopping Plaza.

Yard sale goods can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays at the small building to the right of the old Gotham City store, located behind the Princess Theater. Donations are tax deductible.

If you are having a yard sale and would like your leftover goods picked up or you have items you need assistance with in moving, call the First Christian Church office at 270-247-2204 for a pick-up. Items not sold at the yard sale will be donated to the JU Kevil Center or other local charities.

This year’s yard and bake sale will be held on September 26 at the old Gotham City location.

Last year the sale raised about $12,000 to help the Needline and Food Pantry that provide emergency food and utility assistance for local needy families.

Anyone interested in assisting with the sale, before the sale or the day of, can volunteer by calling the FCC office.

Due to space limitations clothing items are not being accepted.
