KYTC says the bridge will be restricted to one lane starting at 7:30 am to facilitate the pouring of concrete for Piers that are part of construction for the new bridge. Concrete trucks will be parked on one lane of the old bridge to deliver concrete to crews working on the new crossing. Drivers should watch for large trucks coming in and out of the work zone, and remember that flaggers will control alternating one-lane traffic through the area.
The lane restriction is expected to be in place for 6-8 hours. Some minor delays are possible, but have been fairly minor, generally less than 5 minutes.
