Eggners Ferry Bridge Restrictions Start Sunday

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to continue concrete pours on the US 68/KY 80 Eggners Ferry Bridge on an almost daily basis for the next several weeks.

Starting at around 6:00 pm Sunday, the contractor will restrict traffic for an extended concrete pour on the Pier 5 footer. This pour will require a lane restriction that is expected to remain in place until about Noon Monday.
 
Additional lane restrictions of similar length will be required on the existing Eggners Ferry Bridge on Tuesday and Wednesday to facilitate delivery of additional concrete to the worksite for the new structure. Hours may change somewhat due to weather conditions.
 
Drivers should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Delays are possible, but most delays have been less than 4 minutes.
