MAYFIELD, KY - An inmate who walked away from a detention center in Murray on Thursday has been apprehended.

Calloway County Jail officials contacted Kentucky State Police Thursday to report that inmate Bradley G. Watkins, of Mayfield had walked away from the Class D Inmate Facility in Murray. 

Police said Watkins, 21, then stole a van owned by Bad Bob's Barbeque restaurant and drove it to Mayfield, where he was later captured.

The van that Watkins allegedly stole was found in the parking lot of the Mayfield Wal-Mart.
