Explosives, Guns, Alcohol Found at Trigg Co. Home
By AP
TRIGG COUNTY, KY - Authorities in western Kentucky found explosives, drugs and firearms at a home in Trigg County, which prompted an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

The Trigg County Sheriff's Office got a tip about marijuana being grown at the home of 51-year-old Nathan Whitt, and his 48-year-old wife, Beatrix, who were arrested and charged with drug charges and unlicensed manufacturing of alcohol.

The Kentucky New Era reported that during a search of the home on Wednesday, officers found two possible explosive devices, but the devices were determined not to be explosive. Additional explosive materials were found in sheds outside the home and the Paducah Bomb Squad detonated the material on site.

ATF is investigating possible gun charges. Officers also found more than 80 gallons of homemade alcohol.
