FNB Bank continues to support Soup for the Soul, Murray’s first Soup Kitchen as a “Souper Supporter” for 2017. The $1,200 donation helps the soup kitchen offset the cost of meals and assist with equipment maintenance.

In addition, since the beginning of Soup for the Soul, FNB has provided employees on the first Wednesday of each month to assist with cooking, cleaning and serving the community. “Being able to witness firsthand what Soup for the Soul does for our community, makes it an easy cause to get behind,” said Angelique Starks, Murray Office Manager at FNB Bank. “Food brings people together and that is exactly what Soup for the Soul has done for Murray and Calloway County.”

Soup for the Soul is open Monday thru Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. The kitchen serves approximately 100 community members from all over Murray-Calloway County per night.

Soup for the Soul is located within the Murray Family Church, located at 411 Maple Street in downtown Murray.
