Two people face methamphetamine charges in Marshall County.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to Falcon Circle in Calvert City Wednesday morning in reference to a complaint from a woman saying someone was trying to kill her.

Deputies arrived at the home and determined that the woman was lying. April L. Petway, of Murray, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and falsely reporting an incident.

Police also charged the resident of the home, Rickie Wayne Fennel, of Gilbertsville. Fennel was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of a legend drug.
