DRAFFENVILLE, KY - A crash in Marshall County Friday resulted in injuries and a fire.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, at around 8:30 am a semi truck driven by 58 year-old Robert W. Teel of Irvington, KY was southbound on the Purchase Parkway near the 45 mile-marker in the left lane when he struck a Ford F-350 owned by Olco, Inc. of Batesville, IN. that was parked on the left shoulder.

Both vehicles went into the median. A third vehicle, driven by 60 year-old Rita Stutler was hit by debris from the accident. A fire resulted, and the semi burned.

The road was blocked for around five hours while responders from multiple agencies worked to extinguish the blaze, treat the injured and clear the scene of debris.
