Firefighters Still Working at Murray Court Square

Murray Fire Department units and personnel Thursday were still on the scene of a structure fire that was first reported early Wednesday morning.

Small rekindles of the fire continue to be a concern, and the cause of the fire is under investigation by the state Fire Marshall's office. 

Fifth Street remains closed between Main and Poplar Streets, and officials advise that drivers avoid the area unless absolutely necessary while work and cleanup efforts continue.
