Five Arrested in Mayfield on Meth, Other Charges

The Graves County Sheriff's Office made five drug arrests in Mayfield Tuesday.

Sheriff's deputies, with assistance from Mayfield Police officers, responded to a home in the 800 block of South 9th Street after receiving a tip that a wanted subject was there. Police found two people with active warrants inside the home.

During a search of the home, deputies allegedly found methamphetamine and spice, as well as controlled prescription pills not in the proper container. Multiple items of drug paraphernalia were also found inside the home, including multiple pipes and scales.

The investigation led to the arrests of five people, 46-year-old Jay Ivy, 24-year-old Jalon Johnson, 23-year-old James Vasquez and 18-year-old Christain Ahlfield, all of Mayfield, along with 24-year-old Dalevontea Mason of Paducah. All five face various drug charges, including possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All five were lodged in the Graves County Jail.
