MAYFIELD, KY - Members of Mayfield First United Methodist Church are asking attendees to bring a canned food item to the Mayfield-Tilghman football game tonight.
 
As a showing of team spirit, cans with mostly red labels will be given to the Mayfield-Graves Needline Food Pantry, while cans with blue labels will be given to Paducah area churches.
 
Should the game be postponed due to weather, the drive will go on at a later game.
 
The drive started as a mission outreach by Mayfield’s First United Methodist youth group. They hope to keep organizing food drives like this one at local games to help the poor in western Kentucky.
