Matt Bevin returns to Fancy Farm this year, and this time Mitch McConnell might actually stay to hear his speech.

Kentucky's senior U.S. Senator left the stage before Bevin could speak at the annual Fancy Farm picnic two years ago as the two were locked in a bitter Republican primary. Bevin then led the crowd in chanting "Where's Mitch."

McConnell thrashed Bevin in the primary and went on to win a sixth term and be elected the majority leader of the U.S. Senate. But this year, Bevin is the Republican nominee for governor. Now the two former rivals are appearing together at Fancy Farm for just the second time publicly since Bevin became the nominee.

McConnell plans to host a fundraiser for Bevin later this month. Bevin said McConnell has been great and the two get along well.
