A Christian County judge sentenced 29-year-old Leonard E. Orneval of Clarksville, Tennessee pleaded guilty to robbery and will serve his sentenced in Kentucky at the same time he serves a sentence in Tennessee.
Prosecutors say Orneval walked into an Oak Grove home in December 2010 carrying a shotgun and accompanied by an unidentified accomplice. The pair bound the four people inside the home and took jewelry, wallets and their ATM pin numbers and, prosecutors say, later used them.
The Kentucky New Era reported that Orneval was discharged from the Army in September 2005 for rape and he served three months in prison.
