Four-Vehicle Crash Snarls Traffic for Hours
By West Kentucky Star Staff
MARSHALL COUNTY - A four-vehicle crash in Marshall County on Tuesday resulted in traffic delays for several hours.

Curt Curtner, with the Marshall County Emergency Management, told West Kentucky Star that the accident happened late Tuesday morning, and resulted in a semi truck overturning.

He also said that the truck hit a pole that housed the traffic signal control box for US 641 and Brewers Highway, which further complicated the traffic situation. He indicated that the accident was finally cleared at approximately 8:30 pm.

Curtner said the truck contained a load of ice cream, which made it necessary for the Marshall County Health Department to be on the scene.

He said there was one reported injury, and the person was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
