Free COVID Testing Continues

WESTERN KENTUCKY - Western Kentucky residents can still get tested for COVID-19 free of charge at various locations over the next several days.

The Purchase District Health Department began expanded COVID testing on Oct. 5 in community locations as part of a statewide pilot program. The pop up testing sites will offer free drive-up testing at the following locations and times:

The testing is free, and no proof of insurance is required. You do not have to have symptoms or a doctor’s order. Results will be available within a few days via text message or phone call. Walk-ups are accepted, but prior registration is preferred.

This testing event is for people aged 12 and older. If the test cannot be tolerated by those under the age of 18, the service may not be able to be provided and patients will be asked to follow-up with their primary care physician.
