A man sought by authorities for more than a year has been arrested in Livingston County.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office says deputies located a suspected stolen vehicle Thursday at a home on Jennifer Drive in Grand Rivers. Deputies said 55-year-old Timothy Walker attempted to flee out the back door of the home while they were attempting to recover the vehicle. 

Deputies arrested Walker and charged him with with theft of a motor vehicle under $10,000, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernailia and 4th degree assault. He was booked into the McCracken County Jail.

Deputies said they had been looking for Walker for more than a year prior to his arrest.
