Fulton County Crash Injures One Person

The driver of an SUV in Fulton County was hospitalized on Thursday after a single-vehicle crash.

According to the Fulton County Sheriff's Department, the accident happened on State Line Road at the Fulton-Hickman County line. Sheriff's Deputies responded along with Fulton Police officers, and they heard a female yelling from the vehicle, because the car was pinned against a tree and she was trapped inside. 

The South Fulton Fire Department and Fulton Fire Department helped extricate the driver from the SUV and she was taken to a hospital for treatment. 

Law enforcement determined that the driver, whose name was not released, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to spin, leave the road and hit the tree.

An acquaintance posted on the Sheriff's Department Facebook page, saying the driver was in a Nashville hospital with several broken ribs and a broken arm.
