A Marshall County man faces a long list of charges after leading police on a foot pursuit over the weekend.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said a deputy saw a vehicle swerving at around 3 am Saturday and attempted to stop it. The vehicle fled and stopped at the end of Marie Lane.

After a brief foot chase, deputies caught the driver, 22-year-old Terry Blades of Gilbertsville. Deputies said Blades was in possession of synthetic drugs and paraphernalia.

Blades was charged with fleeing and evading police, DUI, possession of synthetic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
